Smith, Prattville, Alabama. ONLY RECORDED LISTING for Lisbon in Roberts census. CCV $350 for this cover. Ex Marcus White and George Clippert. $400.
Thomas W. Smith was born on October 1, 1836 near Prattville in the county of Autauga in the state of Alabama; First entered the service as private on April 18, 1861, at Prattville, Ala in the Prattville Dragoons Co H, 3 Alabama Cavalry and continued until discharged last of March 1862. Re-enlisted as private on Nov. 7, 1863 at Pollard, Ala. in the Co A, 8 Alabama Calvary and continued until April 10, 1865; promoted to Quarter Master Sergeant of Regiment in May 1864.
