Milling, Collingsburg Bossier Paris(h) La. ORIGINAL 1863 LETTER datelined "Camp near Pine Bluff Ark." (letter-page 1) (letter-page 2) from a member of the 13th Texas Cavalry with plea to his brother (in the Louisiana 1st Regulars Infantry, Company B) to find a substitute from Texas for $2,000, full typed letter transcript accompanies, soldier's endorsement “D(avid)Y. Milling, Co. L, 13th Texas Cavalry,” Very Fine and extremely scarce – a fitting adversity cover matching the content of the letter. $1,000.
