Soldier's furlough ticket for Petersburg Rail Road
CSA 12a, 10¢ bright blue, with huge margins to separated unevenly at right, sheet margin at left with small tear, tied light strike of SAVANNAH GA. cds on cover with "OUR FLAG" 7-star Confederate Flag Patriotic sticker produced by A. Dapremont of New Orleans (CSA Catalog #ST-1) to Miss Alice E. Andrews, Griffin, Georgia / Spalding Co., accompanied by blue printed soldier's furlough ticket for Petersburg Rail Road. While no way to prove it originates with the cover, it has the old Scott numbering system on verso so has been with the cover since or before 1940, slightly reduced at right. SC on the sticker stands for Southern Congress (see article in the 2015 1Q Confederate Philatelist)
