CSA 12-KBa variety, 10¢ bright blue, unused, Fine TEXTILE MARKS variety having the appearance of laid-paper lines caused by the worn felt in the water-removal belts in the paper-making machinery. Such varieties are considerably scarcer than normal issues. Scott is listing them as such in 2020 Specialized and future CSA catalogs doubtless carry such listings as well. See Kaufmann article in 2Q 2019 Confederate Philatelist. The plus is the lovely shade, Scott CV $55 as single, milky blue shade, with no premium for the textile marks. $75.
