Speight, town portion of address erased/stain inside and one flap reinforced, Very Fine, a beautiful wallpaper cover with an elaborate design, Ex Kohn and Schopp. $1,800.
Emma Lewis Speight (1811-1895) of Whitakers, Edgecombe County, N.C., was the wife of Methodist pastor, Rev. John Francis Speight. The family papers (1795-1906) are at UNC. Rev. Speight (1804-1860) was also a farmer and trustee of Jamestown Female College. They were married in 1840 and had 3 children.
